<font size="5">The Jealous, The Troubled, And The Loveless</font>
<font size="3">Chapter One</font>



Once again, the Hyuuga heir had a perfect view of the two. Watching from her window, they were doing what they always did every Wednesday. Walking to the Ichiraku Ramen Shop, going about their daily business - talking. Occasionally, he would say something stupid, and she would smack him on the head, and he would get a large bruise..
"WHAT'D YOU SAY, NARUTO-IDIOT?!" Sakura yelled in her familiar, furious man-voice. But of course, she only used it when she had someone to yell at.
"I-I  was joking S-Sakura-chan!" Naruto panted, trying to cover up his slip of tongue, "You have the most curves, and chest than any other girl in Konoha!!" He finished, rubbing his bruise.
"Heh. I thought so." She smirked.
Hinata scoffed. That was awfully untrue. Sakura has no curves and the flatest chest in Konoha. Naruto just said that to save himself.. She thought, assuring herself.
And so, they walked on, Naruto still rubbing his fatal wound, and Sakura, arms folded, confident. They continued for 5 minutes or so, until another person came into view. Ino-san? Hinata watched on, Ino was walking towards them, but not directly at them. Was she just passing by, or was she here to have a little talk? Interesting..
Then, Hinata felt an arm on her shoulder - in protective mode, she shrieked, turned around... It was Neji.
Her Hyuuga cousin looked worried, "Hinata, it's breakfast time. Are you coming to eat?"
Hinata turned back to her scouting position, "No, Neji-ni-san. I'll eat later." She replied flatly.
"Hinata, you haven't eaten with me and your father for about a month, or so. What's wrong?" He sounded displeased.
"I'm just busy.. Now please, ni-san, I need to be alone now." Hinata urged.
"Okay." And with that, Neji twisted his cousin's long hair around his fingers, and released them, hair gliding off his hand. Which made Hinata have the sudden urge to go and eat with him, (and it also made her blush) but she held back.

"Aaah! Yo, forehead girl! And hello forehead girl's boyfriend," Ino grinned, in satisfaction. Naruto blushed, and giggled at the thought of being called Sakura's boyfriend..
"Shut up, Ino-pig!" Was all Sakura could snap back at her.
"Hmm," Ino put her hands on her hips, "How's life, love-birds?"
"EH?! LOVE BIRDS?!" Sakura roared, "He's just a friend!!"
"Whatever.. That's what they all say. After Sasuke left, this is the best you can do? Come on, Sakura, I taught you better!" The blonde girl chucked.
Sakura hissed, "What about you? I heard you and Neji broke up not too long ago!"
"Huh," She scoffed, "Neji wasn't my type. Too focused with his ninja training, 'n all.."
Naruto tried to find his way through the girls' maze of gossip. It was all so confusing! One time, Ino and Neji are together, and then they brake up! Where was this all happening?? And WHEN was it happening? He gave up.. There was no use trying to find his way in all this 'women talk'..
